It's Grand blue, Chapter 28.

For me, It has to be Episode 13. Finally getting to see the backstory of both of them and realising how cruel this system and the world they live in was just sad.

Hiro realising that he's not the only one in this world fighting alone and seeing that Zero two defied an adult, the same adult who never gave answers to his questions, was he shocked? Or fascinated? I am not sure but it did ignite something in him. I still love how at the end he doesn't refer her to as 'The girl with red horns or red skin' but rather as 'The girl with the picture book'. Showing he simply either never saw her as a monster or didn't care about her being one.

Zero two on the other hand was simply Happy to get her first pretty thing in that cruel world and to make it worse, for her it was only that room which was her world. Then one day, Suddenly there was a guy breaking that big window and taking her away to see this big beautiful world.

Seeing them both go through those snow forests, having these small interactions and slowly getting to know each other more even if they didn't understand each other fully was amazing. Then finally making a promise...

But again we were that this world is cruel and they were captured. Their memories were wiped and they were separated. It's so sad that it was the first episode in the series which made me tear up.

And then finally ending the episode with ED4 "Hitori" or "Alone" Which was sung by 'Haruka Tomatsu' who is also the voice of Zero two was the perfect way to end this beautifully cruel Episode.

For me, Episode 13 is on the same level as Episode 15 but 13 has just a small edge for me.

Darling in the franxx is my very first anime i watched. I know it's probably unusual that it was my very first anime but it is what it is.

I know how it was going to end.

And I still cried.

Darling in the franxx has this special place in my heart which no other anime can take.

These two scenes especially just fills my eyes with tears.

I am just here to express my emotions which still stayed same throughout this years for Darling in the franxx.

I am sad because I had already given up on getting her since I haven't played the game much last month and was just doing singles hoping to get her.

Now I only got 2 pulls and Inazuma and sumeru to grind.
