Advertisement on website not being honored

I have had 3 phone lines with Ting mobile for nearly 15 years. I have seen the $25/line/month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data plan advertised for a couple of weeks now, and the advertisement is still on the website now. I called to change my 3 lines to that plan, and they tell me the website is under maintenance and that the $25 Unlimited plan is no longer available. Isn't that a false advertising problem? Does anyone have any information on how to get them to honor this plan?

Radiator fan trouble

Hi All...

First of all, I searched the subreddit, as well as the web in general, and there are many reports of this issue, but none indicate what the problem actually is or how to fix it.

I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I have noticed a couple of times in the 2 years I've had it, that the fan kicks on when the engine is off. I understand this is normal behavior. What is not normal, is that Friday it kicked on and stayed on all day while I was at work, and killed the battery.

A few things I've tested:

  • The coolant is filled just under the MAX line.
  • The check engine light has not come on, and there are no stored codes.
  • It is not overheating, or even going over normal operating temperature.
  • When I turn the ignition to the ON position, without starting the car, the fan stops. When I turn it back off, the fan kicks on again.
  • The temperature gauge seems to be working properly - cold when the engine is cold, normal operating temp when it has been driven for more than ~5 minutes.
  • I've replaced the relay, even though I didn't think that was the problem. - It didn't help.
  • I'm thinking about replacing the coolant temp sensor, but since the gauge reads correctly I think it is probably not the problem.
  • The battery measures a stable 12.5v when I turn off the engine, then slowly declines when the fan kicks on. It measures 14.05v with the engine running, so the alternator seems to be working correctly.
  • I'm planning on have my battery tested at O'Reilly later this week....the battery was purchased in 2023 but I don't know if Interstate Batteries is considered a quality brand or not...it might be starting to die.
  • We have been having pretty hot weather the last couple of weeks, but nothing more than the car has seen in the last 2 summers, and I'm only driving like 30 minutes to work and back...not hours long road trips.

Any other suggestions? Any other idea what it could be? I really don't want to spend a ton of money on this if I can avoid it. It seems like the ECU is sending the signal to turn the fan on after the engine turns off (detecting a hot condition) and is not sending the "turn off" signal, even after it cools down. When I plug the relay back in, the fan immediately starts back up. I've also noticed the relay is hot when I unplug it, even after letting it run for 30 minutes...I'm thinking there is current flowing through it continuously, but that is just a guess.

Anyway...thanks for reading!
