Would this work out or is it too much for the eye?

i've been planning this tank since last year, but the layout and planting plan has been a headache to me. As my first and only tank (for the time being), i really want it to pop out and look nice (even if it takes a long ass time for things to grow, to which as someone who's letting the tank sit there cycled for well over 2 months, i have plenty of patience for.)

I did some research and after selecting some plants i drew out a rough idea of where i wanted to place them as well to see how they might look like together (which i'm aware the colors won't be vibrant or even show at all in low tech-ish)

But anyways, i wanted to know how this looks. how's the composition? is it too messy and all over the place color wise? any suggestions on how to improve?

I'm still planning things out so any help is welcome before i finally settle to order any plant!

also, what's you guys opinion on the lotus red? its a plant i REALLY wanted, but now i'm realizing it might just be too big for my tank and that even if i prune it to grow lower and smaller, it might just still be too big and get crowded in this composition

Update on the heartleaf sport find!

I cut the whole variegated branch into 21 props. Out of those 21 props 1 rotted but the rest is going strong! Only 10 of them show variegation so far, the remaining 10 seem to be full green from leaf to stem, but since they're still on their first leaf there's still hope they might push out variegation, so only time will tell!

The mother plant was quite consistent throughout the whole vine, still pushing out variegation even after some fully green leaves/stems, so i'm hoping i get at least one that's just as consistent, or if extremely lucky, a whole vining pot of them 🥺

Need plant suggestion for this aquascape (info in desc)

This is my first ever fish tank, so even though i've been doing some deep research since last year, i'm still learning on the way, so please be kind.

Since my tanks dark cycle has been done for a while, i'm finally ready to plant it! But i need help selecting the plants suited for my tank since there's so many to choose from and the info varies so much it gets pretty confusing (specially when it comes to size and how well they can do).

First of, here's some info about the tank: It's size is 55x31x36cm, it has an internal double sponge filter with an outflow at the surface (350l/h), a heater set to 25°C, lights are FullGain FG-146-45 wrgb and it has 9L of Week aqua aquasoil. It's not running co2 and i'm not sure how good those lights are, so i'm considering it low-tech. I will also be dozing fertilisers (root tabs when the soil grows weaker). Parameters are still a bit hard to tell since the soil keeps messing up with them, but i believe it should be around 7.5 ph, a kh of 2 and gh of 6 (which i'm thinking of making higher since i plan on keeping shrimp and snails.)

In the last pic i drew a very rough idea of what i had in mind (for the exception of the big red plant, a red lotus, as i really want it but idk where it would look best)

I know it's hard in low-tech tanks and painfully slow to grow and spread, which is not an issue for me as i have all the pacience in the world, but if pocible, i wanted a small leaved carpet for my tank. For the background, i thought some thiner/smaller leaved tall plants would help give it some ilusion of depth? Since the right side of driftwood is closer to the front of the tank, i was thinking a plant like Nymphoides sp.Taiwan behind it would look nice, not only to help hide the filter but to also make it feel closer to the eye, with a large but thinner leaved plant like a smaller fern on the left side to give the oposite effect. Closer and around the wood and rocks i wanted some small short plants to decorate the space like some smaller crypts or other plant of the kind. I'm pretty bad at making a layout, so any help and advice on how it would look best is welcome!

The plants i have loved and decided since the start are the weeping moss over the top of the driftwood, paired with some other cute weeping plant (maybe Hydrocotyle tripartita Japan?) that will also go over the rocks supporting the right side of the wood. Some kind of bucephalandra, im thinking maybe theia red or sp brownie along with an anubia nana pinto (the only anubia i like). And a red tiger lotus which i REALLY REALLY want but have no idea where to place it since it gets so big...
