Reward flight - seat selection

Hi, my partner and I will be travelling to Japan soon. We have two bookings - one of the bookings was fully paid for (we selected basic economy) but the second booking was booked with full Aeroplan redemption points. Does anyone know if the Aeroplan redemption booking allows you to select your seat free of charge?

Should I trim?

I’ve had this jade plant for about 3 years. It’s getting quite leggy and long, should I prune/trim it? If so, where? It gets plenty of sun in a south facing window ☀️
