MSc Economics - Uni Augsburg

Hi everyone,

I applied for the M.Sc. Economics programme at the University of Augsburg for the winter semester 2026/27. I submitted my application on 26 May, but my application status is still shown as “Received” in the portal.

I just wanted to ask if anyone else applied for the same programme and has already received any update, such as “valid”, admission, rejection, or any request for additional documents.

I know the processing may take some time after the deadline, but I would be grateful to hear about other applicants’ experiences.

Thanks a lot!

Hochschule Neu Ulm

Hello, guys. I am a final-year undergraduate student from outside the EU. Does HU allow final-year students to apply for master's programs? I plan to receive my degree at the end of July.

MSc Management Science

Hi guys, I noticed that some applicants have already received their admission letters. My application status is still “Valid.” Does that mean I’ve been rejected, or is it still under review?

Mathematical Finance Master Program

Hi everyone,

I recently applied to the Mathematical Finance program at University of Konstanz, and I’m feeling a bit anxious about the admission timeline.

I noticed that the application deadline for this program is September 15, which seems relatively late compared to many other graduate programs. I’m wondering whether admission decisions are usually released on a rolling basis (for example, a few weeks after submitting the application), or if applicants typically need to wait until after the final deadline to hear back.

If anyone has applied to this program before or knows how Uni Konstanz usually handles decisions for Mathematical Finance, I’d really appreciate your insight.

Thank you!

Missing documents

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the Master in Management Science and MMF at Goethe University Frankfurt through uni-assist.

My application was successfully processed and forwarded by uni-assist, but I just realized that I forgot to upload my Certificate of Enrollment.

Since uni-assist accepted and forwarded my application, I am wondering:

  1. Has anyone been in a similar situation before?
  2. Does Goethe University usually allow applicants to submit a missing Certificate of Enrollment after the application has been forwarded?
  3. Would it be advisable to email the admissions office and send the document now, or should I wait unless they specifically request it?

I would really appreciate hearing about any experiences

Thank you!

MMF Portal login

I would like to ask if anyone from the same application round (May 15 deadline) has already received an email from Goethe with login details for the application portal?

MMF Goethe: Am I being unrealistic about my chances for Goethe MMF?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently waiting for an admission decision from Goethe University's Master in Money and Finance (MMF) program, and honestly, the waiting has been quite stressful.

I submitted my application before the deadline (15 May), and Uni - Assist later informed me that my application had been forwarded to Goethe University.

A bit about my background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (fully taught in English)
  • German GPA equivalent: 1.3
  • One undergraduate research publication
  • One year as an exchange student in Germany
  • International applicant from Vietnam

What makes me anxious is that I have already been rejected by two Master's programs in Economics in Germany. Since then, I've started questioning whether my academic background is simply not suitable for competitive German Master's programs.

I know MMF is different from Economics and that admissions depend heavily on academic fit, especially quantitative coursework. Still, I can't help worrying that my Accounting background may put me at a disadvantage compared to applicants from Economics, Finance, or Mathematics.

For those who were admitted to MMF (or know the program well), do you think my profile is competitive? Am I overthinking the previous rejections, or should I realistically prepare for another one?

I would really appreciate any honest opinions or experiences.

Thank you.

SEDs at Uni Konstanz application

Hello everyone,

I have applied for the Master’s program in Social and Economic Data Science (SEDS) at the University of Konstanz and would appreciate some insights from current students or alumni.

My bachelor’s degree is in Accounting, and I am curious about how the selection process is conducted and whether applicants from non-traditional backgrounds such as Accounting are typically considered competitive for admission.

If you were admitted to the program, would you mind sharing a bit about your academic background, GPA/grades (if comfortable), relevant coursework, research experience, or other factors that you believe strengthened your application? Any information about the profiles of previously admitted students would be extremely helpful for me to assess my fit for the program.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance!
