Looking for Short One Act for Wide Age Scale

I am a theater teacher in a school that’s pretty tight about script regulations. In this case, I’ve been asked to do two one acts, one for the fall and one for the spring. It’s been kinda rough finding a script, but from other years and other teachers I’ve talked to they like scripts with strong morals, that can be classic stories (like when they were doing full lengths they did Little Women, just as an example), or come from historic moments. I’ve tried going for a few things but haven’t gotten anything they liked, does anyone have any suggestions? Links are appreciated too!

My casting size is about 7-10, and it needs to be under 30 minutes (guys its been rough 😭).

I should also note, that I direct/teach theater on all levels for a lot of people, so if I see something I like I’ll hang onto it for future use. Thank you!

What were some of the Historic Benefits of drinking coffee?

I'm mostly a medical historian, so the nature of my research has been trying to figure what people considered beneficial in coffee. Like the health properties? I know the big one I keep finding over and over is energy. But I haven't found anything else...well other then all of the lawsuits over the centuries against caffeine, which have been entertaining, I'm not complaining 🤣

Has anyone else looked into this? What are some of the reasons you've found people listed for drinking coffee? The nature of my research is American, up to about the 1930s.

He's Presbyterian and I'm Baptist, could it work?

I know this feels like a silly question, and I'm sure a lot of people will say yes. However, I'm still conflicted.

There's this guy I know. We've been friends for a while now, but recently I keep getting the sense from him that his feelings may go deeper. Every time we've been around each other lately he keeps slipping up and saying things that just make me wonder.

He's Reformed Presbyterian and I'm a Reformed Baptist. As a result I firmly don't believe that baby baptism is a correct doctrine (don't fight me please, I'm asking for opinions on the topic not my doctrine). That and we disagree on eschatology and the way the Bible should be interpreted (analogical vs. Biblical historical). We do agree on a lot of other things though.

Ive been wanting to get married for a while now, and I know despite our differing opinions that this guy is saved. We also get along super well, and people have assumed in the past that we're couple (or just shipped us really hard). I just don't want to jump into something that I may regret or end up breaking his heart because I did jump in, but I couldn't make it work.

Advice from anyone who relates or has been in a similar situation? How'd it turn out? What was your thinking?

iPad Storage Struggles considering Factory Reboot

Hey! So I have an iPad, I know it's from 2021, don't know what the model itself is. I think we've got 64 GB of storage? Not good with numbers and I'm doing this on my phone 😅

After two years since the last factory restart (remember your passwords y'all 😅), it's saying it's out of storage. I use this thing as my primary computer, but I also am an artist. There's only one game, Hatch Dragons, and I don't really touch it that much. I've had it for a while now, so I'm not totally shocked it's out of storage...mostly annoyed.

I'm just curious what other iPad users have done? I can't really afford to by a new one right now, and I'm nervous about another factory reboot, but don't want to continue off loading and reinstalling apps.

Thank you!

Broken Heart and Wondering

So I just learned that a guy who I've had a crush on for a while now has a girlfriend. He's a believer, good guy, and we were getting along so well I thought the feelings were mutual. Ive known enough Christian guys to know when they have a girlfriend. This guy wasn't giving off any of the signs. So it really shocked me to learn he had a girlfriend.

This happened a few days ago, and it's had me wondering, I've been single for a while, and in that time I've never had a boyfriend. I thought that Christian guys were taught like I was to get married or to get ready to get married, but when I look at the playing field I don't see anyone who's ready or trying to get married. Its very frustrating. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. So this leaves me wondering, what do other single Christians do when they look around and find themselves in a similar situation I am? Are there any married Christians who found themselves in this same boat? How did God work your story out?

I'm just upset, but I want to try to think rightly about this..and maybe gather a little hope.
