As per the EFL statement yesterday, Southampton have admitted to breaches concerning fixtures against Oxford United in December 2025, Ipswich Town in April 2026 and Middlesbrough in May 2026.

The results from those three games:

December 2025: Oxford 2-1 Southampton

April 2026: Southampton 2-2 Ipswich

May 2026: Middlesbrough 0-0 Southampton

The Tees Valley Tennis Foundation has recently launched as a newly registered charity supporting young tennis and padel players aged 8–18 across the Tees Valley and the surrounding area.

The idea behind the Foundation is simple: there are talented young players locally whose opportunities in the sport can become limited by cost. Coaching, equipment, tournament entry fees and travel can quickly add up, and for some families that becomes the difference between continuing and dropping out altogether.

The Foundation hopes to help by providing financial support to young players who may otherwise struggle to access or continue in tennis and padel, while also helping new young players take their first steps into the sport.

The charity has only just launched publicly and is currently beginning the process of seeking grants and funding, with the aim of awarding its first grants from summer 2026 onwards.
