So we all know this dude had millions of wives and concubines, and he definitely had access to a lot of yin/yang gu. Me and my boy were talking about it and he probably threw mortals/gu masters into his blessed land/grotto heaven and waited 2-3 years till they fully matured. He def also used atmosphere gu. I think we’re on to something.

Lowkey wish the Gu Yue Clan somehow survived the events of Volume 1. I’m re-reading and I would’ve loved to see their reaction when one of their own clansman terrorized the world and destroyed Fate, would’ve been peak. Would Fang Yuan have been the pride of the clan or their disgrace? How would Fang Zheng feel? Interesting stuff.
