I’m looking for a reliable car I can use long term

My top pick is the prius hybrid, I love the exterior and I can see myself driving this for years

I just want to make sure I’m making the right financial decision with this car..

31k TSRP, but with tax and fees its 34k from where I live

I’m able to do 30% down so that I can pay it off faster, and I’ll be using my credit union with 4.54%APR for 60 months

This will be my first car and first big financial decision, please let me know your thoughts and advice!

I live in an abusive and hateful environment ever since I moved here in the US with my dad.

When I was a kid living in the Philippines, my dad who worked abroad in the US cheated on my mom.. He cheated with his sister’s friend who was a nun.

When he bought us to the US, I was 9 and had two younger step brothers..

I’ve gone through so much as a kid, and yet I never received help or even had any guidance from anyone..

Fast forward all the trauma and mental deterioration throughout the years, I’m older now..

I still live with my mom, dad, and even my step brothers. Everyday is not normal, my dad continues to be unfaithful and neglectful of his kids. He visits the PH to do selfish things and he puts himself in a high horse. He’s narcissistic, manipulative, and a serial cheater..

My mom doesn’t deserve this but she stays for stability, because all she has here is me.

Now I’m graduating and I need to find a stable job, but throughout the years I’ve been depressed, anxious, and just not okay..

I want to move out with my mom but the cost of living in my area is high…

If there’s anyone that could provide advice I would be truly grateful..
