Drinking & Dragons - August 18th

Hello all, we had fun at our last Drinking & Dragons night and plan on doing more! Once per month for now, and if it grows I'll bring in more dungeon masters for more tables.

Location: Prefunk in Nampa
Date: Tuesday 8/18 from 6 PM to 11 PMish.
Age: 21+
No cover charge, we'll probably be on the patio.

We post the events in the Canyon Count Gaming Tavern Discord > https://discord.com/invite/Fj6PSJBykG

Open to all, first timers especially welcome! Bring a new level 1 D&D 5e/5.5e, or use one of my pregens, OR a character with some XP that has already played in the campaign!

No character, dice, pencil, etc. needed if you don't have them.

The campaign itself takes place in the Dread Domains of D&D, nightmare realms within the Ravenloft setting. They serve as isolated, mist-bordered demiplanes designed to imprison ultimate evil. My own Dread Domain I am running is called Duskmourn (MtG) a haunted house that covers the whole plain, constantly shifting, changing, and growing. Characters from all over the multiverse may find themselves in the Dread Domains for many reasons, these characters are hoping to find a way out. Or perhaps to succumb to their fate.

3 Newcomers Joining Tonight

I've watched some YouTube videos, read some posts, and got 2 friends who wanna try with me so doing a trio starting tonight but heard most of the game is soloable so worried it might be a little easy but we are jumping in anyway!

Me, wanting to play a Warden not sure what race. My GF who's set on the Beornling. Then my BFF who I think is looking at some sort of class with pets as a high elf but is really not sure yet.

Drinking & Dragons Open Play

Hello Nampans,

I'm starting an open table play teaching Dungeons and Dragons at my favorite drinking hole, the Nampa Prefunk once per month!

I love games, and I love a good beer, and I want to bring those two things together and get out and get more people into the game so if you or someone you know is interested in learning or wanting to play then come on down!

Our first Drinking & Dragons is at Prefunk on Tuesday 7/21 from 6 PM to 11 PM. You can show up at anytime, you can bring a level character or dice or whatever or show up empty handed, any level of experience is fine although you must be 21+ to get in.

I bought a Ride1Up Vorsa in August last year and have been commuting on it ever since, love this thing, but have had trouble with my rear brakes.

I changed the pads back in November and the brakes worked again! Until about a week ago. All the while my front brakes have worked fine. So I thought maybe my brake fluid had some air so I just used a bleed kit for the first time (twice because it didn't work the first time) and that hasn't helped one bit, and I think I did it right, both times I saw air leave the system.

I did have trouble adjusting the neutral position of the lever early on and stripped the bolt but have cranked it well enough to get it where I needed.

So I'm not sure what's going on, what else can I check? Would my pads go that bad again way quicker than my front pads which haven't needed to be changed at all (I did clean them a couple times)? I'm left handed so I don't think I have been using my rear ones more than my front but unsure.

For my riding habits, I commute 3 days a week for 27 miles round-trip and take on maybe 3 miles for store runs. I rode through the winter (no snow but a few heavy rains).

The new pads I put in are these https://a.co/d/0hHaMNcD
