Donuts

Recipe https://www.tastesoflizzyt.com/amish-glazed-donuts/
My biggest tips are to roll dough balls like you would for dinner rolls then flatten them with your fingers and then punch out holes. I used a large piping tip. The hole seems small but the dough is very soft so the hole stretches when you pick the donuts up to move them into the oil. Also, spray nonstick spray on whatever you let the donuts rise on so that they don’t stick and come off easily and spray your fingers when you go to pick them up.

I split the recipe in half between the bread pan and muffin tin. I let the loaf rise on a sheet pan and the rolls I let rise in a muffin pan that was greased and sprinkled with semolina. For the loaf I preheated two pans and for the muffins preheated one. Pulled the warm loaf pans out and greased then sprinkled with semolina before putting the loaf in and topping with the second pan. For the rolls I put the preheated pan over the pan they rose in. The rolls turned out great and wonderful to eat warm with some butter.
