Planning Permission Anomaly
Not sure if this is the right forum but saw multiple posts on planning hence requesting feedback on my situation.
We have received planning permission for a semi to extend our rear extension by another 1 mt. While talking to the structural engineer we realized that the planning proposal had an anomaly.
The circled area in the approved plan below is the existing extension wall which shows a gap between the neighbours extension and ours from the boundary (red dotted line), but in reality my extension wall is till the boundary and also the neighbours effectively making it look like single wall. I suspect it may be the common extension wall (neighbours have no recollection of this as they are senior citizens and I have bought the house recently).
My question is, does this anomaly impact my approved plan or any issues in the future ? And, if I have to extend my extension of 1 mt, should I make my new wall along with the neighbours wall till the boundary or leave a gap as the planning approval shows the same?
