I am struggling to figure out whether my niche is even worth creating

🌊 Hey everyone, I am currently trying to figure out my shop - only 3 sales in about 40 days. I have posted the shop on another post and I have heard the feedback that my niche might be too small in the market. It includes ocean/diving/coastal digital templates and designs. It is something I have been so passionate about (I love diving, travels, ocean and also love creating and designing).

My questions for you (happy for any insights from anyone here 🙂💌):

- How do you do research to evaluate the market potential? - so far I have tried to utilize a bit of erank but I am just not quite sure how to really apply it to my business/store.

- Is it possible for you to give feedback on my store - is it unique enough for digital products, is it conclusive what value it brings to customers, and is it visually appealing?

- How should I decide whether to continue going with this niche or broaden it? I dont want to keep on going all crazy on all of my listings (I have already played aroudn a lot with mockups, tags, titles, etc and I fear it is hurting me)

- How would you implement ads and social media? So far, I am trying to list on Pinterest as much as I possibly could.

Thanks in advance! Really trying to make this work as I quit my job to follow more of my passion.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone,

I recently started my Etsy store (~40 days ago) and views, visits and sales have not been great (views & visits seem to get worse).

I have tried adapting hero images, pricing, tags, etc but nothing seems to move the needle.

How have you guys dealt with this previously?

I‘m specializing in my absolute passion of ocean/coastal/diving inspired digital products and would love for this to work out and change my life. 🥹
