can proper posture ruin your aim ?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out something that has been messing with my aim for a while.
I’m actually pretty good at aim trainers, and my tracking feels completely normal there. The problem is that my aim sometimes feels disconnected, like I don’t have full control over my hand, especially when I’m tracing a target and then transitioning into a flick or micro-adjustment.
This started after I learned about “proper” aiming/gaming posture. Before that, I had a very natural setup that I was comfortable with: my chair was lower and my elbow was more flared outward. I never really thought about my posture or how my arm was positioned, and I could just aim naturally.
After learning that I was supposedly supposed to have a more “correct” posture, I started trying to fix everything — chair height, elbow position, forearm angle, wrist position, etc. Since then, I’ve become extremely conscious of how my arm is positioned while aiming.
Now I feel like I’m constantly trying to find the “right” position. Sometimes I literally change my posture every round because my aim feels off, but every position ends up feeling wrong or unnatural.
Another thing I noticed is that my forearm naturally points slightly outward rather than straight toward the center of my body, roughly like /. I don’t know if this is just my natural anatomy/position or something I should actually correct.
So I’m wondering: should I just go back to my old natural setup (lower chair + flared-out elbow), even if it might not be considered “proper posture,” and stop trying to force my arm into a supposedly correct position?
Or should I stick with the newer posture and let myself adapt to it?
I’m mainly trying to get back to the point where I don’t think about my arm or posture at all and can just aim naturally. Any advice from people who have experienced something similar would be appreciated.

Best mouse for 17–18.5cm hands? Looking for a good relaxed-claw shape

Hey everyone!
I’m currently looking for a new mouse and I’m having a really hard time choosing because there are so many options on the market.
My hand measurements:
Length: 17–18.5 cm
Width: 8.5–9 cm
Grip: Relaxed claw
My main priority is shape/ergonomics, especially finding something that feels comfortable and natural for relaxed claw. I’m much more interested in getting the right shape than simply buying a mouse with the best specs.
That said, I still want good overall specs — good sensor, reliable wireless connection, good clicks, low latency, and especially reliable firmware/MCU.
My current mouse is the Attack Shark R6. On paper, the specs are pretty good and I actually liked it, but I’ve been having issues that seem to be related to its MCU/firmware, including occasional stuttering and other wireless/firmware problems. So I’m looking for something more reliable.
I’m considering everything from budget/mid-range mice to flagship/high-end mice, but I’m not sure if it’s worth spending a lot more for a high-end mouse or if there are cheaper options with an equally good shape and performance.
What would you recommend for my hand size and relaxed-claw grip?
And if you’ve personally used any of these mice, I’d especially appreciate your experience with the shape, comfort, and long-term reliability.
Thanks!
