I’m planning a 3 night stay around the Cabot trail, West/North and East sides. I have my last night booked in broad cove, but didn’t book the other two and now there doesn’t seem to be any available (for the national park sites) what are my chances of finding more campgrounds around those areas? How many are there ? Any suggestions? Or do I plan for a motel, which I didn’t want to do, but will if I need to. (Gosh, if those will even be available 🫣) any help is appreciated!!

we are planning on spending a couple days on the Cabot trail and had a few questions.

is it safe? I know its outdoors and obviously there's wildlife, but would we generally be safe in a tent along the trail?

how should we split our trip and what camp sites should we stop at along the route?

what are the MUST sees on the trail? we are able to do difficult hikes and are planning on doing them from sun up to sundown. what are your favorites? were willing to venture out of the park to do some as well, but want to stay close to the area so we can go back to camp at night.

Do any parents have like a designated bin that stays in your car for when you go out somewheres? I want to be able to take my 3 year old to meow places but he is SO busy and wants to be doing something, even as simple as driving an excavator through dirt, constantly. I don’t want to rely on screens as much, but curious what y’all do for busy kids so you can sit for a minute 😅

We are coming from NB and can only get be there for 2-3 days. We want to hike as much as we can from sun up to sundown on both days, and just wondering what the must do hikes are! We want to be in the National Park area.

Also, we are planning on tenting, but unaware where that is available to do so!! Any help is appreciated :))
