EvergreenHealth Kirkland Childbirth Preparation Class?

Hi all – first-time mom-to-be, and trying to decide on childbirth preparation classes through EvergreenHealth in Kirkland. They offer:

  • Weekend course: 2 days, 12 hours total, $300 for both partners
  • One-day course: 1 day, 6 hours total, $200 for both partners

Has anyone taken either one? Curious whether the extra 6 hours in the weekend version actually covers meaningfully more (like more hands-on practice, more time on pain management/comfort techniques, etc.), or if the one-day condensed version covers the essential information just fine.

Also open to hearing if you found the class worth it at all as a first-time parent, versus just relying on books/podcasts/your OB or midwife team. Would love to hear how it went and which one you'd pick again if you had to do it over!

Thanks!

HeyHae's You're My Sunshine

First time using semi-cured gel nail wraps! I'm only on day 3, but there hasn't been any chipping or lifting yet. I also used HeyHae's top coat, and the gel feels pretty strong and super glossy.

I usually opt for classic colors (single-shade nudes, pinks, deep reds, etc.), but really love this one! Leans more pink-orange-coral in person. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fun and summery. Fingers crossed these last 1-2 weeks!
