Just watched Mummy On the Orient Express and had an idea for an episode

So we learn about the mummy and how it was a soldier in a forgotten war and had a thought to have a follow up episode where the 17th doctor goes back and fights along side the person who later becomes the mummy. They could also introduce new species on the war…etc

What episodes would have been better with a different doctor?

The church on ruby road in my opinion was a very Matt Smith type of episode. He was always so more curious than the other doctors which I think would have fit the episode better because of all the mystery it had.

What episode would have been better with different companions?

The girl in the fireplace would have been 5x better with Amy and Rory instead of Rose and Mickey. Rose was fine but Mickey was not a good choice for that episode.
