Has anyone had any luck getting into a new dr quick for a breast lump?

Awkward question, and I’ll be deleting this soon 😅 but i didn’t do a good job at establishing care with a pcp or gyn when I moved here a couple weeks ago, and I just found a breast lump. I’m sure it’s nothing, but I would like to get it checked out just in case, but everyone is booked out until at least October. Has anyone been in the same situation, and was able to get seen quicker?

Thanks guys!

Dahlia bouquets on south end

Hello everyone! Any recommendations for getting a dahlia bouquet tomorrow on the south end? I’ve send a couple dahlia farms, but not sure if they make bouquets, and I don’t trust myself to cut the right ones to make a beautiful bouquet. 😅 hoping to keep it under $50 too if possible.

Thanks!

Edit: thank you everyone for the suggestions!!

Can anyone recommend a dog sitter on the island?

Looking for someone that can watch my two dogs on the 1st, but without other dogs in the home preferably.

Thank you!

Where to park to walk on Clinton ferry?

Bonus points if it’s free! I just moved here, and would like to keep commuting to Seattle for work, but I think driving on and off the ferry each day is going to get real old 😅

Does anyone use the 5 or 5:30 am ferry in Clinton? How reliable is it?

I’m moving to the island in a few months, and will be commuting off island for work, and I’m just wondering how reliable the ferry is at this time. Does it get cancelled or delayed often?

On a side note, how backed up does it get for the 530 pm ferry to return back to the island during the week? I’m assuming Fridays can get backed up during the summer, but I’m hoping it’s usually fine outside of that time!

Hello!

I am years away from really having to make a decision, but I’m curious about homeschooling my kids. My biggest drawback is that I don’t want my kids to miss out on the social experience of school. I’ve heard though that there is a big homeschool community in South Whidbey. If so, could you let me know what that looks like? Do your kids have plenty of friends through this community? I would love to hear about any of the positives of homeschooling on Whidbey!
