What's a "poor person meal" you still eat even though you can now afford better?

I took my 10 highest-traffic posts (all ranking on page 1 for their target keywords) and analyzed their keyword density.
The results:
· Average density: 1.2%
· Highest ranking post (position #1): 0.9%
· Lowest ranking post (position #8-10): 1.8%
My takeaway: under 1.5% seems to be the sweet spot. Over 2% starts to feel forced.
I used a simple frequency counter to see which words appeared most often. The target keyword was almost never the most frequent word in the post. Related terms showed up more.
Has anyone else done this with their own content? What density works for your niche?
