Is this moisture?
Does anyone know what’s wrong with my card? It looks like the card is wet inside the PSA slab?! Did I store it poorly?
Thanks all!

Hi all, may I know what you guys consider to be the true wemby rookie? Half the ones I find either have no spurs logo, or are stickers. Any advice? Thanks
Does it make sense to pair a dividend ETF like VYM with VOO? Or is VOO more than enough.
Time and time again I am reading about cases of people elongating or even rerupturing due to overly intense PT or trying to return to normal activity way too quickly.
Is there any downside in giving it slightly more time for the tendon to grow stronger before pushing it?
It’s hard to find a good balance between the doctors orders and physios goals.
Thanks!
Hi all,
Looking to do some rebalancing away from individual stocks over to ETFs.
I want a stable base in VOO, but want to capture the recent AI upside. Would a VOO + SOXX make sense? How would you allocate? Or VOO + QQQ a better way to go?
10 weeks post op, foot goes nearly purple when I let it hang down.
Is this normal!? How do I fix this?
Once I elevate my leg it goes back to normal.
Have his prices come down enough or will there be more room to fall further in the off season?
Curious to know how many MRIs or scans did you go through from start to finish of the diagnose to recovery journey? Thx!
Had surgery 3 months ago, suffered a fall and tore the Achilles again while in a weak state. Not a full rupture and tendon still in tact.
Not sure if the doctor will suggest another op, is that even possible!? Anyone have experience with reinjury during the recovery phase?
Thanks!
10 weeks post op, super careful and recovering well, was out on a walk in my boot, right crutch slipped on a wet spot from earlier day rain, lost balance and caught the fall on my injured foot, slammed it into the ground.
No pop but felt like my tendon got crushed by the force.
Doctor said it’s still in tact but the tendon feels thinner, need to rest.
Feeling so sad about it all, major set back and hopefully no real damage.
I know it’s critical to avoid sudden stretch or dorsiflexion of the ankle post surgery, but has anyone had reruptured or done damage from slamming weight into their heel?
Asking as I recently slipped on my crutches and put a lot of force into my heel.
10 weeks post op, was walking in my vecoped in crutches, my crutch slipped and I slammed my vecoped heel into ground. Felt a strong pain but no pop and nothing sharp, just like too much force into the tendon. Kinda sore now.
Do you this this is cause for concern?
I’m 9 weeks since op full rupture. My foot is nearly neutral can’t get past it and I can’t even imagine to going past neutral into dorsiflexion.
What should I do? Do I need to be more aggressive in stretching it!?
I’m 9 weeks post op, still about 10 degrees from getting my foot fully neutral.
I’ve shifted over to wearing sneakers with a thick heel lift, I can walk with just a single crutch but with very limited range.
Due to the lack of ROM, I’m too scared to put my good foot in front of my bad foot, essentially taking one small step at a time.
Is this common? Curious to hear how everyone transitioned back into walking.
Hi all,
Is there a universally accepted rehab protocol guide that I could use a baseline reference? The ones I find online from university and medical centers are very generic and don’t have much detail into actual movements.
Thank you!
Hi all,
As I’m looking to rebuild my able range of motion, I was suggested to buy a small skateboard and slowly roll my foot back and forward while in a seated position.
Is this common practice? I’m at the 9 week mark.
Thanks!
I’m 9 weeks post op and I’m finding my ROM to be very limited.
In a seated position, I can only drag my foot towards my body around half way before my heel needs to lift off the ground. I’m far from being able to sit with both my feet/heels flat on the ground. The heel to floor gap is at least 2 inches.
I’m meant to start walking with in a shoe with a heel lift, but the ROM is making it difficult.
Am I far behind?
Thanks all.
Curious to when everyone started going back to work after their full rupture surgery?
Hi all,
I’ve started physio and have been working on ROM experiences.
I do feel a very tight pulling when I move the ankle near neutral. How much resistance should I be feeling? Should I be fighting the resistance to rebuild the range of motion? I can’t seem to find the “sweet spot” that allows for stretching without damaging.
Thanks.
Hi all!
I’m excited to share that I’ve been cleared to transition into a shoe (with an elevated heel) in coming 2 weeks.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what’s the best shoe model or shoe brand to purchase? Would love to hear any good experiences or recommendations.
Thank you.
