Me and the wife have bought our first non primary property after a long time shopping and pulling out of various deals. We finally found the perfect house in the city we need it in, good location and the right price.
It’s about 4 hours away from home and we brought our first load with our 3 year old yesterday morning and spent all afternoon bringing in new appliances etc.
In the first hour we were here 3 people in the neighborhood walked into our house to warn us of the squatters that had been living in the backyard and that the house next to us is a drug dealer and they were right. I found bins of clothes and a bag full of glass stems, taped to liquor bottles, sharp and scraping objects, torches etc. and it was all dry even though it rained last night. I think they skedaddled as they saw us backing the trailer in. We brought a bed and holed up in the master overnight with our toddler while I stared out the window, gun in hand, hoping they squatters didn’t come back for revenge since I threw all the stuff in the garbage and watched 20 vehicles pull into the neighbors driveway from 11 to 3am.
We’re setting up cameras and WiFi today but we’re really considering just cutting our losses and putting it back on the market.
We planned on staying here often in between bookings since we have family in the area but if we barely felt safe staying here 1 night then it feels pointless to try and fill out this property. The neighbor on the other side of us warned of the drug house but I wonder why she hasn’t tipped off anyone? Snitches get stitches right?
We paid cash for the house.

Level 32 and I’m just so proud of myself just had to tell yall. My god that was a tough boss but after I came back to it after a few days break and got it first try it was so satisfying. Honestly some of the most fun combat I’ve ever had in a game.
