Order Inaccuracy & Radio Silence from Support

I ordered this book a couple of weeks ago, clearly listed as a paperback. What I received was a mass market paperback, and clearly not even the same edition as the picture shown on the listing. It’s hard to discern if the picture in the listing is in fact a regular or mass market paperback, but I assumed it would arrive in the correct form. I tried emailing support directly on the day it arrived (Thursday), and I also tried again through the Thriftbooks app the following day. I’ve received no response whatsoever, which is unfortunate considering the only other time I had to reach out with an issue back in March, I received a prompt response less than 2 hours later. I understand that I need to temper expectations when it comes to a thrift site, but I find this unacceptable and will have to consider not using them again in the future, despite being a loyal customer for quite a while now.

Nearing the end…

Hello everyone,

I am on my first journey, finally nearing the Tower. (Just started part 4 of book 7). The sense of dread and depression is so thick and palpable as Roland and Susannah leave Fedic for the last time. Nothing will stop me from pushing through and finishing the tale, but I can’t help but feel overcome with the same emotions that the characters are feeling in this moment of the story. Did anyone else feel overwhelming dread when they got to this part? I’ve never felt so in tune with the emotions of characters in a story (except maybe with the immense sense of loss Roland felt when he lost Susan at the end of Wizard & Glass)
