Is the Xteink X4 Pro worth it (in terms of build quality)?

I love the idea of having a mini e-reader to do some easy reading on the go, and as a way for me to wean myself off the hours I spend doomscrolling.
I found an amazing deal for the device (~$55), but what's stopping me from actually pulling the trigger are the reports of the build quality. Having spent the last 10 years of reading with my kindle paperwhite (which is built like a tank), the thought of having to baby a pocket-size reading device lest its screen cracks feels, off, especially since its purpose is to travel with you everywhere.
People who are using the X4 Pro, how has your device been holding up? Is it really as fragile as some people purport?

I have a G-Shock (GW-B5600 in gold) that is a gift from my parents, bought 8 years ago that I love to death. It's basically been with me everywhere from high school through college. About a year back the watch started to periodically reset itself (to 12:00 01.01, with all of the settings wiped). I have changed its battery but it still behaves the same (about two weeks between each reset). It makes me feel very sad, I thought I would be using this watch for life, it's been a inseparable companion of mine. Has any of you have had this problem? And if so how did you manage to solve it?
