Hello.
I just inherited this beautiful pocket watch.
Thanks to a quick search on pockerwatch database I was able to determine it is an Elgin Grade 240
It says it dates about 1910
I am able to crank but do not hear any ticking and don’t understand how to move the arms.
Could you tell me more about this watch?
How do I know if it works?
Where should I go if I need it looked into?

Last year when I replaced the timing belt I did not put the top cover back on.
I am trying now but it feels that the water pump pulley is in the way.
Am I just not trying hard enough?
