Would you consider this a lie or a mix up from the seller?
I was looking around on Vinted for a specific handheld console. I found a listing that I was interested and decided to message the seller. The item was listed as ‘new with tags’ and the pics were looked fine too. The description firstly said the item was new, then further down it said it had signs of use. I messaged the seller again and they assured me that the item was completely new and unused, but later changed their mind once I called them out. And blamed it on a misunderstanding. I am fairly new on Vinted, do sellers usually lie about an items condition? And what’s there to gain from doing so? Aren’t buyers just able to claim that the item was misleading?
