Roof Shade for P*3: thoughts and offers?

Thinking of getting the roof shade my for my car as we get a lot of sun where I live. The OEM part is $300 from ViVa. Anyone got one if they’ve moved on from P*3 that they would sell cheaper with shipping? Owners who have it — how do you like it? Is it easy to deploy?

Welp, GHCA Threw in the Towel On the Day the US Exit Announcement Came

Tried two level 2 chargers (a portable EVSE at the place I'm staying and a public L2 ChargePoint I know works) and sure enough, my GHCA will not charge. No error in car yet but hard reset does not solve and other cars work on these chargers just fine. I called Polestar Marin and they have a 3 month delay for service. Denver is actually my home location but I won't be there until August since I'm traveling this summer. Anything I can do to at least get a diagnosis so I can at least have DCFC comp'd in the meantime? Have half a mind to just camp at Marin until they give me a written notice that my GHCA failed.

If this is the only issue I've had with car in 4 months (on Orin chip since delivery and latest software, no other big bugs so far) it's not the worst. But man, I wish it came at a more convenient time. Glad to get the new fixed one well under warranty period. Definitely factors into me weighing whether I will do $39k residual buyout in 2 years' time if Polestar gives owners an incentive to avoid taking a massive bath on these cars.

Suspension Apprecistion Post

The air suspension is quite incredible. I was just driving on a choppy broken section of pavement near my house I rode in last week in a first gen Model Y uber. It was so rattley in the Model Y I thought the car would fall apart and my eyes were vibrating in their sockets. Same road in the 3? I can notice vibrations in the steering wheel and feel them but they’re dampened incredibly. Standard ride comfort, not nimble or firm. This is my first car with truly premium suspension (the independent dual wishbone and air chamber) and I love it!!

Front Bag Mount for Grail CF SLX?

I have a CF SLX 8 Di2 Grail, great adventure bike I think I might want to occasionally outfit with more storage.

Has anyone used something like this Tailfin system with the one-piece Pro bar? not sure if the mounts will fit the cockpit shape or even interfere with the Gear groove, which I have outfitted with a computer mount

Would you Pay a Subscription for Hands Free Highway Assist?

I have a PS3 with the standard pilot system and it’s decent (slows for curves, matches speed, adjustable distance finally, and alright job centering in the lane). It still requires a capacitive sensor on the wheel to stay engaged every 20 seconds.

I realize the more advanced driver assist systems on the market that use either pre mapped data (BlueCruiss) or AI training (like Tesla FSD) are pretty much all paid, ranging from $25 to $100 a month. If Polestar offered a hands free shstem on their cars with more advanced computers and sensors, would you pay for it and if so how much?

It’s kinda nice having the basics for free but I wonder sometimes.
