This type of submersible pump control box is very common in most of Asia. These things are notorious for blowing up because they are not made with properly rated parts, even the expensive ones are the same. These flimsy setups are used for running 1-5 HP submersible pumps. Now, I am wondering if I should launch my own brand of custom control boxes with properly rated parts and proper grounding. Oh yes, these things don't even come with proper grounding connections.
