just watching episode 9 of series 7 and there's an awkward encounter in the elevator between don & Diana and Sylvia & Arnold. Diana's in her uniform and Arnold asks don if he brought the whole restaurant home in a drunk, hostile way. is he asking that cos he knows about the affair, or did things just get weird between them all post affair even if he didn't ever find out about it? hard to tell if he was joking and it just landed weird or if he genuinely is trying to put him down for womanising. my guess is Sylvia told him don made a pass at her once so they can distance themselves but I dunno

When Don has a flashback to how he was conceived and when he was born, is that what actually happened or what he imagined?

Obviously he knew his mother was a sex worker who died in childbirth because his adoptive mother never let him forget it. But is this scene an example of Dons imagination or true to what happened?

Especially the scene where Abigail has a still birth, and his dad visits the brothel - these are one of the few flashback scenes which aren't real memories.

I obvs know its inclusion is to show his origin story but I dunno how he's meant to know the before he was born stuff - doubt his dad would be telling him what happened the night he was conceived at a brothel.

in the episode of mad men where betty babysits glen bishop and she inappropriately gives in to his request for some of her hair, how did she know where the scissors was in the bishops house? she says no at first, pauses for a moment and then just gets up and snips off some of her hair? I can never remember where I've kept the scissors at home. I would never know where to look in someone else's home. and like they're not something that's left laying around.

EDIT wow people hate this question sorry. I personally think it's a fresh, fascinating and compelling observation for a show that has incredible attention to detail. did not know people really know where to look for a scissors and got that I am genuinely sorry

Hello! Have just signed a lease that stipulates clothes cannot be left to dry indoors, an outside drier in the shed must be used. I don't like using driers as they ruin clothes and ofc cannot rely on drying weather for outside. Was planning on buying a dehumidifier to prevent mould.

I want to know is this a legally sound stipulation to have in a lease, it seems over the top to me and I haven't come across this before? Looked up Citizens Information and it seems it's ok as long as other drying facilities are available but I dunno if it's legally enforceable, or a legally sound clause to have. Thanks in advance for any legal insights!
