22 years of Monitoring

I was told 22 years ago that I have retinal tear due to high myopia. I also had scar tissues in my eyes from cataract surgery 30 some years ago. I am 74 now.

Have been under the care of a group of ophthalmologists. I went in two or three times a year.for more than 20 years. They did various tests and took pictures of the back of my eyes. They are watchful for potential tears, possibly glaucoma, but have not done one thing. No eye drops, no surgery, no recommendation, no medication. The only thing my retinal specialist each time after looking at the pictures was ‘You have a lot of scar tissues… See you next year!’

Is that normal?

TIA ?

My LO with Lewy Body Dementia called and said he experienced a mini stroke. He couldn’t think and couldn’t move and was scared. We are living in different states and no one was with him as it happened. His companion said he is fine, blood pressure and heart rate are fine so it must not have happened. It could just be one of his delusions. I don’t know what to think. Should we be alarmed or just chalk it up as an imaginary incident?
