Hi everyone!
I’ve been going through a lot and have been battling myself in the head everyday. I’m willing to call out everybody having any mental health issues to hold hands and be there for each other. I believe speaking to people in the same boat as us will actually make a noticeable difference.
I’m creating a closed Reddit group where we can collectively discuss about how we feel everyday at any time of the day and look out for each other.
Reason:
- A lot of us don’t share anything to people around us to not bother them.
- Therapy works wonders for any mental health issue but a lot of us are still hesitant or unable to be expressive of what we feel or just contemplating to take the step.
- No more fear of being judged.
About me: I’m just an engineer working in a software company finding hard to survive even though everything’s perfectly alright in my life. I’m trying to find strength and finding people who seek the same.
We can do group sessions in public places on weekends in small batches just to talk to each other (if needed).
If you’re a therapist or on the works, feel free to join too. Just in case someone needs it :)
Who can join:
- You’re going through something that you’re unable to explain
- Battling a trauma
- Grieving over a loss
- Unable to feel emotions/too many emotions at once
- You don’t have anybody to talk to about how you feel
- Tired of life, don’t see a liveable future
- S*icidal thoughts
- Feel no purpose in life
- Need shoulders to cry
- Your head feels like a pressure cooker about to explode anytime
