Hello all!

I’m 22M currently living in Ontario Canada. I do fairly well for myself and I’m looking at buying either a 2022 or 2023 S5.

I found one that checked all the boxes, technik (prestige), black optics, dynamic package, sport exhaust and low KM (43k). The price was pretty good until I checked the carfax.

September 2022 - minor damage
December 2022 - damage reported to left side
October 2023 - theft claim: $30,576 CAD
February 2024 - collision claim: $34,993 CAD

This would be my first “S” model. I’ve been driving a 2014 A6 for the past 4 years, and my father is an Audi mechanic so most repairs we’ve done ourselves.

I noticed the car has been at the dealership for of 320 days. I definitely want to avoid this car at high cost but would it be worth it to offer a lowball just to see where the dealership is at?

Any advice/experience that can be shared would be greatly appreciated!

I submitted a withdrawal request and it has been awaiting processing for a good amount of time now. I submitted all the required documents and I haven’t heard anything back. There are no support lines and live chats doesn’t have any actual human beings.
