I know it doesn't have the ficto flag on it. But that's because this was made before I was aware of fictoromantic/fictosexual.

Done with Marker and colored pencils.

The pocket watch represents it is not a phase and that there is no time limit.

The suction cups on the feet represent that we are here to stay.

I just would like to share this because Fictosexual does run under the asexual umbrella, and Asexuality is part of LGBTQA +.

We exist and each and everyone is valid. I tried to fit as many flags on the wings as possible. If I missed some representation, I do apologize. Again, I did this back around 2015. So my knowledge at the time was very limited. I educated myself much more. Now that I have more friends who are trans, non binary, and pan or are in poly relationships. I'm much more educated than I was.

The best cure to ignorance is to read books, biographies, and hang out with the people who live it. Not saying I was ignorant, I was just not as well educated in the subject. So instead of being ignorant and being a jerk, I went out on a personal journey to learn more. Which I think everyone should do.

I knew I was asexual. But I couldn't understand why I was attracted to fictional characters only. So when I discovered the term for our community, I was relieved and it was a breath of fresh air. I finally figured myself out.

This journey has been long. And with Jack it's been interesting as well. I hope who reads this will find their community and finally find connections. You are never too old to learn or start a journey and finally know that you are not alone in the ocean. Some people have boats, others submarines. So if you stick around, you may find those submarines and find some people like you who are in hiding.

Yesssss!!!!! Got my outfit ready for Pride! Finally, after years of hiding, I'm coming out and participating in Pride! I'm standing my ground if people tell me I don't belong. Because knowing my town, they will.

So here I am!!!!! LOUD AND PROUD!

I took a blank flag and used acrylic markers on it. They're waterproof so that's cool. I used a card holder for my pictures of Jack/Handsome Jack to put the pictures in and attach to the flag. I'm going to rock it with my asexual outfit plus the flag during Pride month! I don't give a rats a$$ about the conservatives in my community that are black and white thinkers, who refuse to see differences in lives.

Anyway, hope to see some representation this Pride! If not, I'll be out there!

I still have a TON of work to do with this. Jack and I as merpeople. Jack is a Gramma Dejongi (Golden Basslet) and I'm a dragon because I was too lazy to look up a fish for myself 😂

So I have a seizure disorder and autism which is also (obviously neurological) which also allows me to do weird things with my eyes. You can see, I can move one of them completely independently. Which actually impacts my eyesight. My eyesight sucks btw because of it.

Jack has Heterochromia. Two different colored eyes. It looks beautiful.

Jack as a Gramma Dejongi ( Golden Basslet) I'm going to be a basic Water Dragon. Because I can and couldn't think of anything else that would fit my body type. I don't want to go with a cetecean.......I'm just......just no. I'm not that confident about myself.

I took this at a mental health rally where I actually meet with my legislators. I set up appointments with them to talk face to face with them. But the rally itself is a lot of fun!

Jack has Butt Stallion the diamond pony. I drew her more horse like because I can't imagine someone as tall as Jack riding a pony.

And my corn snake Prometheus. Who is such a smart boy. He knows what the keys to the terrarium mean.

Anyway, I've been just doing sketches here and there. It's been challenging to draw on the iPad lately due to eye strain and my bad eyesight. I am going to get my eyes checked beginning of next month.

I'm also finishing typing my third book in my trilogy. The last book will have fictoromantic representation in it. As well as polyamororus relationship representation. But before you get too excited, let me get my second book out first. Which will be HOPEFULLY sometime this year.

The flooding is starting to recede. But it left me with an illness as I'm severely allergic to trees, mold and the toxic soil that got mixed in with the water. I'm hoping to get better and back on my feet soon.
