Is it possible to register for or do a CURE lab as a post-bacc student? Just wondering if anyone has done this before as a post-bacc student on the pre-health track interested in getting research experience! TIA!!
I’m about a year post-grad from undergrad (graduated in 2025), and since graduating, I’ve been working as an MA while balancing a post-bacc and volunteering. I know I’m not the strongest applicant (GPA being a big factor sub 3.0 sGPA), and honestly, graduating made me realize that I really needed to get my life together academically and professionally because I genuinely want to pursue PA school.
My biggest concern is how PA programs will view this when I eventually apply. Will they look at my application and think, “Why now?” or wonder why I’m suddenly putting in the effort to improve my academics, gain experience, volunteer, etc., when I should have been doing these things during undergrad?
I know I can’t change what I did in college, and all I can really do now is show that I’ve grown and am willing to put in the work. But I’m worried admissions committees might look at my application and question why I’m trying to turn things around now, rather than seeing the growth for what it is.
For those who were in a similar position, how did PA programs view your post-grad improvement? Did anyone have a rough undergrad but successfully strengthen their application afterward? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and perspectives!! TIA!!
I am so nervous to write my personal statement. I don't plan to apply until next cycle, but I am currently brainstorming what to write and how to mesh all my experiences together while making it flow cohesively. I am a low GPA applicant (<3.0 sGPA, 3.09 cGPA), so being able to write a meaingful, strong personal statement means a lot to me!!! I just feel like everything I write just sounds so corny and makes zero sense to anyone who isn't in my mind. I also just feel like my writing skills have gone SIGNIFICANTLY downhill in the past years, and my vocabulary and syntax are all over the place. Any advice?!?
Hello! I was wondering if anybody could put me on to a car detailer located in the Duluth/Suwanee area? I just recently purchased a black car and would love to get my car professionally cleaned. I am trying to evolve from touch automatic car washes lol. Specifically, does anybody know a detailer that offers waxing on black cars (for protecting, glossiness, water repelling, and hiding mini scratches)?
