Looking for a 1-Month Mountain Workcation in India – Need Suggestions for Stay + Internet + Gym

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking of taking a break from my usual environment and doing a 1-month workcation somewhere peaceful in India. I work remotely, so I can basically work from anywhere as long as the internet is reliable.

My ideal preference is a mountain area with good weather, greenery, peaceful vibes, and not too crowded. Somewhere I can focus on work during the day and relax in the evenings. I’m not looking for luxury, just a clean and comfortable setup for a month.

Here’s what I’m mainly looking for:

Stay Requirements

  • Small private room / studio apartment
  • Small kitchen or kitchenette so I can cook my own meals
  • Balcony with a decent view would be amazing
  • Clean washroom and decent hygiene
  • Good ventilation and natural light
  • Budget-friendly monthly rental preferred

Work Requirements

  • Strong and stable WiFi (this is the most important part)
  • Peaceful environment for calls/work
  • Good mobile network backup in case WiFi goes down
  • Preferably places where remote workers/digital nomads stay

Lifestyle Requirements

  • Gym nearby
  • Cafes or basic grocery stores nearby
  • Safe area for staying alone for a month
  • Good weather and peaceful atmosphere
  • Not extremely isolated, but not overly crowded either

I’m completely open to suggestions from anywhere in India — Himachal, Uttarakhand, Northeast, Kashmir, South India hill stations, literally anywhere if the internet and stay situation is good.

Would really appreciate if you could suggest:

  • Best towns/areas for workcations
  • Airbnb/co-living/PG recommendations
  • Approx monthly budget for stay
  • Places to avoid because of bad internet or tourist rush
  • Any hidden gems that worked well for you

If you’ve personally done something similar, please share your experience as well.

Thanks a lot 🙌

Need help verifying this Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 real or fake?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking at buying this gold Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 and wanted to get some opinions from people who know these watches better than I do.

The seller shared photos of the watch, caseback, bracelet, box, and warranty card. Something feels a bit off to me, especially with the movement finishing and overall details, but I’m not experienced enough to confidently tell if it’s genuine or a replica.

Would really appreciate if you guys could take a look and let me know your thoughts before I go ahead with the purchase.

Things I noticed:

  • Warranty card is blank
  • QR sticker on rotor
  • Gold finishing/color looks slightly unusual to me
  • Not sure if the movement matches a genuine Powermatic 80

Would love any input from PRX owners or anyone familiar with spotting fakes.

Thanks!
