These are the three animal companions from the famous Japanese folktale Momotaro: a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant.

They join Momotaro on his journey to Onigashima (Demon Island), where they fight the demons together.

These are traditional Japanese string puppets from Isshiza, a traditional Japanese string puppet theatre company in Tokyo, Japan.
