Hey everyone! I’m new to Arunachal and still getting used to travelling around here as an outsider.

To all the locals and people who’ve been living here for a while — what are some useful travel hacks/tips I should know? Things like public transport, shared taxis, routes, timings, places to be a little more careful, or anything else that would make travelling easier.

Also, are there any common mistakes that outsiders make here that I should avoid? And is there anything specific I should keep in mind regarding local customs and etiquette?

I need a little help from anyone who is currently studying at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) or knows someone there.

I’m currently Waiting List No. 1 in the EWS category for hostel allotment, and I really need a hostel seat. My parents are not comfortable letting me stay alone outside the campus, especially since I’m coming from another state.

If any RGU senior or anyone who has contacts with the hostel administration/warden/officials can guide me or help me regarding the allotment, I would be extremely grateful.

If someone accepts the seat allotted to them in an ICAR counselling round, do they have to pay the entire college/university fee immediately, or is the ₹10,000 seat acceptance/token amount enough initially?

And if they do not opt for upgradation, when is the remaining fee supposed to be paid — immediately after accepting the seat or after the 4th round/final round?

Would appreciate if someone who has gone through ICAR counselling can clarify.

I'm from Bihar and belong to the EWS category. I'm expecting 201/250 in CUET Biology for admission to the Integrated B.Sc.–M.Sc. Forensic Science program at UPSIFS.

Could you please tell me honestly if I have a good chance of getting admission?

I'm mentally exhausted from overthinking.

I scored 201/250 in CUET Biology and have applied for B.Sc.–M.Sc. Forensic Science at NFSU and UPSIFS under the EWS category.

Now there's only one question on my mind every single day:

Will I get in?

The waiting, uncertainty, and constant overthinking are becoming harder than the exam itself
