My manager complained that young employees never went drinking with him

This happened at workplace of mine in Japan.

Back then, going out for drinks with coworkers after work was still a pretty common part of office culture, especially when a manager invited younger employees.

One day, my manager complained:

“Young employees these days never come drinking with me.”

So I said, “Then why don’t you go drinking with your own manager?”

He immediately replied:

“Because drinking with my boss isn’t fun!”

I just looked at him and thought...

Exactly.

Beginner observations can be useful too, not just expert guides

I’m still new to tactical shooters, but I noticed that beginner mistakes are sometimes hard to understand from expert guides.

For example, an expert may say “use jiggle peeking,” but a beginner might repeat the same angle and timing, making themselves easier to pre-aim.

I think beginner observations can be useful because they show where advice breaks down in practice.

Do you think beginner perspectives are useful in game discussions, or do they mostly create noise?

Is jiggle peeking actually bad for beginners if they repeat the same angle?

I’m still new to tactical shooters, and I noticed something while playing Delta Force.

When I try to jiggle peek, I sometimes feel like I’m making myself easier to pre-aim. I think it might be because beginners tend to peek from the same spot with the same timing, so the enemy can just hold the angle.

Is that a common beginner mistake?

Should beginners use jiggle peeking mainly to gather information, rather than trying to shoot during the peek?
