The best value for money Dell our there? Precision 3640 with a 10700F and an RTX 3070 mobile gpu for only €215/€250/£190?

Ironically enough, if it wasn't for the ram crisis, this wouldn't have been possible to pull off lol. Anyways, this right here is a Dell Precision 3640. Originally it came with a Quadro p2200, 4x16gb of ram and a 10700k which is straight up impossible to cool. I sold the ram, the cpu and the Quadro, got a cheap 2x8gb kit, a 65w 10700f which was also cheap and a rather interesting RTX 3070M which is essentially a laptop gpu on a desktop pcb. Wild right?

Anyways, it certainly can't get better than this. This thing plays FH6 at ultra settings at 55-80 fps (I guess, it's capped to 72) which is insane for the money. The cpu does still run kinda hot at around 80-85c in gaming due to the chassis having the goofiest design ever but it doesn't throttle and I can't really complain considering how much I paid for it.

(MCLA: CE) I cant get the vinyls to work no matter what i try or what settings i change. Someone please help me, i am desperate. Here are my settings, i use xenia manager:

Dell 3640+PTM7950?

So after my 4th or 5th Dell 3640, ive concluded that they are almost impossible to cool if running anyting more than an i5. And even that is on the edge, considering the dumbass cooling design and psu placement dell opted for here. The 10700K comfortably throttles and reaches 100c while benchmarking after a few seconds, and the 10700F is currently use is only marginally better even though its at 65w... So an idea came to mind:

The mx-4 i am currently using is kinda known to experience a "pump out" effect, plus i've read multiple times that the so-called PTM7950 is crazy good when it comes to cooling (although thats applicable for direct-die applications such as laptop cpus and gpus)

Has anyone used this for a cpu, more specifically the dell 3640 (and even the 3630 to some degree)

Does it get better?

How to fix the infamous bug with the vinyls not showing outside vynil editor in mcla? D3d12 readback resolve isn't available in the config file?

So yeah the title is pretty self explanatory. The game runs superbly, but with Xenia Canary the vynils are still broken. They do work with Xenia edge but it runs and looks much worse there. Any fix?

Any guesses on what could this gpu be?

This is all ive got. Seller hasnt provided any photos of the inside. Its from an HP pavilion with an i3 13100, so id say the gpu was released between 2019 and 2024 (thats the windows installation date)

I havent been able to find anything simmilar, the closest ive found with this array of ports was the ELSA SP GTX 1650 but that has a small vent next to the hdmi port. Its not and rx 6400/7400 since those have 2 ports or mini-dp only. Any help? May even be an older gpu perhaps?

I genuinely have no idea what happened. I used to be able to mod gta iv normally. Now NOTHING works. I downgrade the game to 1080. I install fusionfix plus liberty tweaks and accomodating prerequisites (+clonkdeandre libs and ivsdk)

the game doesnt even start now...

Ive tried using the drag and drop archive on a freshly downgraded game. Liberty tweaks wouldn't work and the game would crash upon pressing the f4 key.

visual c++ and directx software are installed, along with net framework 4.8.1

Ive tried multiple OS reinstalls but to no avail.

Im genuinely losing it at this point. Gillian's community discord server offered no help at all. No youtube tutorial has managed to fix this. Will i even be able to play this game properly ever again at this point?
