Any tips on translating music from my head onto paper?

I can think of full songs with beautiful chords but when it comes to actually writing that down or playing it on the piano I just... Can't. If you play a note (other than the obvious Do) I probably wouldn't be able to guess it, if I do it's by pure luck. It's even worse for chords, I can imagine many chords but when it comes to knowing what they even are.... Yikes. So I just wanna know if you guys have any tips for translating what you hear in your head onto paper other than pressing keys until one of them kind of sounds right.

TCL 20L+'s screen broke, black screen, can't tell if it's recieving any input. Do I have any hope?

My phone's screen has been broken for a year or so, classic black screen, nothing's showing. All I want is to be able to access the screen to recover some things I wrote down on there.

I know it still works because my computer acknowledges whenever I plug my phone to it using a USB cable and the phone vibrates to show it's recharging. I genuinely have no idea how to access the screen, hell even to transfer files I have to manually press on my phone's screen that I allow it to transfer files, honestly I wish the stuff I wrote were in files because that would've been a lot easier.

Any tips I see on the internet require some amount of usage of the screen or to have somehow predicted this would happen and to have downloaded an app for it. So, do I have any hope? Will I ever be able to recover anything from that phone or am I better off moving on? I can't get the screen fixed since I can't really be spending money on something like that, plus i have a new phone now.

My phone used to be able to display its screen and it received input when I pressed hard on the bottom part of it but now it's way more cracked and it doesn't do anything so I'm just doing more harm than good when I try that.
