Played for a couple more hours today, and... gotta say... as somene who has searched far and wide for a fucking eternity in hopes of a good Disaster-like to play that isn't Outcome Memories...
i know the astra and darr situation is pretty fucked, and what the devs did was uncalled for, but surely im not the only one who's willing adopt the forsaken player mindset of just pushing all the drama aside and just enjoying the game regardless right? i get the people who no longer wanna support the game, but i personally just don't give a shit about the drama and it really doesn't affect the way i see the game itself. i'm still looking forward to playing it and i just dont really see that changing unless the game gets cancelled before it releases or something which i hope to god it doesnt. i still wanna see this game succeed despite what the devs did, not because i advocate for what they did, but because y'all seriously have no fuckin clue how long ive been waiting for the idea of a the disaster/outcome memories styled super mario asym to be made a reality. anyways, hopefully the comment section doesnt grill me too hard for having an opinion, and im personally just neutral on this whole situation, cya.
It's no secret that Fleetway is broken. Hell, he is OBJECTIVELY, the best Executioner in the game. But I'm getting kinda tired of people acting like there's nothing wrong with the Survivors, and the game's balancing issue stems from the killers alone.
Knuckles and Sonic's stun stacking passive.
Cream's Heal being able to heal herself.
Amy's fuckass tarot cards having no downsides on a lot of 'em.
Eggman's passive being able to heal Metal Sonic faster than the speed of god damn light.
silvers entire existence
So on, and so forth.
I'm not saying the Survivors need to be kneecapped for the sake of the Executioners standing a chance at killing everyone. Hell, a good enough player can pull off a full server wipe with any Executioner if they're skilled enough. Granted... some are more difficult to pull off than others (cough cough, Tripwire), but as it stands, Survivors just have it WAY too easy right now. A lot of people usually just say that all the Executioners need are to be buffed up to Fleetway's level, just without all the abusable bs at their disposal like i-frames and shit, and to a certain extent, I do agree. But I'm seriously tired of a lot of people acting like that's ALL that needs to be done to balance the game. Like, you're complaining about the damn i-frame factory, but not the reason as to why he's the only viable Executioner to use if you wanna get consistent server wipes?
most the other big dawg asyms are getting great updates, maintaining their popularity while bite by night just rots away in the dumpster because ozel's a retard
i'm not saying it was BETTER than his reworked moveset, but i liked how his old moveset felt like you were gambling whether you were gonna land his ranged abilities or not. the best way i can describe his moveset would be to say that he felt like the killer equivalent of Chance. but now with the new moveset, while less frustrating to go against for both sides, sadly got rid of the gambling aspect of his moveset, so now all that really makes him unique is the fact he's a range-based killer. which you could argue is good enough to set him apart from the other killers, which is fair, and i do kinda agree... but hopefully some day the devs will add a killer that has the same high risk high reward aspect 1x's old moveset had. i doubt they will, but a man can dream
