EBMM JP15, what is this circled in red?

I saw a Youtube video where a guy said this is to tighten the tremolo (whammy bar).
Music Man JP6: Fixing Whammy Bar to stay in place (whammy bar adjustments)
But people in the comments were saying that this is actually a, "tremolo height adjustment screw." Wtf is that?.... I know how to tighten the actual set screw so my whammy bar will sit wherever I leave it, or alternatively I can loosen it and the whammy bar will not hold its position. But anyway, point is I like the whammy bar to hold its position and I notice there is a little bit of wobble in the bar when I first reach for it.... Just curious if the wobble is normal and if anyone knows if this spot circled in red does anything important or could fix the wobble?

P.S. My Allan key doesn't seem to do anything on this spot circled in red, even though I can in fact secure the whammy bar in its position where the other set screw is located.

How to properly maintain unfinished AAA roasted maple necks?

I feel I've done my homework per the references listed below. Just wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone has experience/advice on maintaining unfinished AAA roasted maple necks from EBMM? My main concerns are whether I should remove the neck from the guitar for this process, and alternatively if I should tape up the body to protect it from the various products?
By extension, any other tips/advice/cautionary tales are appreciated.

So far as I can tell, the steps are:
1)Dilute murphy wood cleaner in warm water/clean back of neck
2)sand/buff (I'll start with a conservative 1000 grit)
3)apply tru-oil/buff
4)apply gun stock wax/buff

2019 VW Golf R drove into standing water, stopped, then backed out. Looking for opinions on water depth and potential risk based on the video.

I have a 2019 Volkswagen Golf R. During a heavy rainstorm I turned right to avoid a flooded underpass, drove into standing water that was deeper than I expected. As soon as I realized the depth, I stopped and backed out and did a U-turn to avoid hydro locking my car. The attached video shows the entire incident from driving into the water to backing out. You also see an SUV and a sedan go through the water albeit in the left lane which may not have been as deep as the right hand side.

Afterward:

No warning lights (no check engine light, EPC, etc.).

The engine never stalled.

I drove home normally.

I didn't notice any unusual noises, vibrations, or drivability issues.

I made it home and parked the car. Tomorrow is Sunday, so my mechanic is closed until Monday. I'm trying to decide whether I should avoid driving it until I can have it looked at, or if, based on what you see in the video and the symptoms (or lack thereof), it would generally be considered safe to drive for now.

I'm also wondering if there are any less obvious issues that could result from driving through water even if the engine didn't hydro lock and the car seems to run normally. If you think it should be inspected on Monday, what specific things would you recommend having my mechanic check?
