My first pen without the golden dose. Gutted honestly. I cannot believe how much the price has gone up since I started but I tried to go off and gained. Absolutely gutted.

I know this is American but there's absolutely no way we're not seeing a lot of this here. Thoughts?

I will hold my hands up and say the phone replaced books for me over time but I have consciously pushed myself to read again and wow, what a difference. Edit to add: I was always pushing my students to read but me reading more has somehow made it easier to push them too as well. I guess I can articulate the struggle and payoff better or at least more honestly.

I asked some year 6s what they would do once the social media ban came into effect (I'm not pro ban but we all need to try to be less addicted to screens). They said they would get around it or just watch YouTube. I said any more reading? Answer was - definitely not.

I have a subscription to a beauty product and 2 months in a row now it hasn't shown up but after I complain and they send a new one 2 show up! I honestly feel like a scammer but it genuinely doesn't show up before I complain! They use Royal Mail and no tracking numbers. I've asked for an upgraded post with tracking and they said it isn't an option.

Any idea what's going on here? I'm stumped.
