Curious as to if this is any indication of something I can improve.

Essentially when I go to remove the portafilter the puck remains "suctioned" to the bottom of the group head instead of in the portafilter basket. Puck generally comes off cleanly into my hand when I touch it to break the seal with the grouphead. I use a calibrated tamper and have routinely checked I'm not overfilling with the Breville blade tool so I don't thing its that but I might be wrong.

Would this puck behavior be a symptom of grinding too fine or some other thing I can improve or refine upstream in the espresso process?

Interesting given his physical presence in this Blues vs. Canes game and he has been really impactful for the blues in the games of theirs I have watched this year.

Granted mostly attacking contributions because I haven't monitored his defense contribution.
