2026 Trailseeker reviews?

We are considering a trailseeker, we were going to get a BZ as our second car, but the dealer sold it and then the finance rates skyrocketed this month. We also considered a model 3 and do have one on order arriving later this month.

But we've been thinking that the trailseeker, especially with its good ability to haul bikes and stuff, could be our primary vehicle and possibly even just stick with one car for our family. Maybe using a rental occasionally to fill the gaps.

Does anyone have one and can offer some real world reviews?

Has anyone been able to get any of the higher trims to work for EVAP somehow?

Thank you

Are people really paying over MSRP for Kia?

I was comparing some Kia models to other cars we are looking at and long story short the dealer was basically saying he was giving me a "smoking deal" on a 2025 Niro for $50k+GST. I wasn't really interested in the Niro but he said he would give me a deal I couldn't refuse if I'd consider it.

Full MSRP on that car is about $45k out the door.

I was considering an ev5 or maybe even waiting for the 3 but I walked out laughing when he said $5k over the full website price is a deal for a car he admitted has been sat on his lot for months unsold.

He was trying to make out no one is paying MSRP for Kia or anything. The sales sleeze was worse than a Dodge dealer. He even argued the Niro isn't eligible for evap with his dealer added packages.

I've bought about 25 cars in the last 5 years, mainly Toyota, and not paid over MSRP once. For a budget brand like Kia I'd be expecting discounts not premiums.
