Is the pay after bds really very low?

I am thinking of joining dental college but the thing is ,the low pay after this long course is really left me thinking twice whether i should really do this or choose another course. I like biology and human anatomy but after long 5 years and so much hardwork when I hear people getting only 12-20k makes me sad. I know you can earn a lot with a private clinic but it takes a lot of investment and years to build patient trust. I do not know whether I'll have the investment or patience in future for a clinic.

I want to know that is the pay really this low everywhere or it depends on place and how is the pay graph initially and later with experience.

I did not gave CUET exam, I gave JEE and NEET

Also pls tell me should I opt for this course since I was more inclined towards bio but I did not get govt seat and bds is a very saturated and low paying field.

What should I learn before starting BDS

I'm going to have around 1–1.5 months before my BDS classes start. What would you recommend I do during this time?

Are there any useful skills, courses, or topics related to BDS that I can learn beforehand? Or is there something else you'd suggest that would help me in dental school or in the long run?

Is bds from govt college worth it?

I can get bds govt seat but I am a little skeptical due to saturation in this field and low pay jobs after the course. Does it have scope in future.

Also the fees is approx 11-12 lakhs for the entire course.
