The so called Blue Dot Fever phenomenon has me nervous MCR is going to cancel. I do regular checks for the Detroit show to see how well I can work Comerica for a reasonable upgrade and I saw how many tickets were still available. Which resulted me in me going down a rabbit hole and that did not help my nervousness. That’s A LOT of blue.
I’ve had my migraine on and off for a week now. Today is probably one of the worst days so I called my doctor’s office and the nurse goes: “have you taken your abortive every day?”
My understanding is you’re not supposed to? And yes, I am on the verge of going to the ER to get the cocktail.
I, 36f, was just diagnosed in January and right now I’m experiencing the worst episode since diagnosis. It started on Sunday. I felt it coming on midday so I took my first abortive. It didn’t help. So I took my second before bed and then by 11, I was crying in pain and my husband had to call my mom because she’s a long time migraine sufferer to seek her advice. It helped and I was able to go back to sleep.
It’s now Wednesday morning, my head still hurts and I’ve called my doctor with no response. I’m drinking water. I’m sleeping it off with an ice compression mask thing. In fact I spent most of yesterday sleeping. And I’m still not feeling great.
I just don’t know what to do right now.
Edit to add: I took my abortives again yesterday and then slept from 330p-440a, woke up with a head, y’all know the drill.
