2007 Altima And O2 Sensors

Hey everyone, I've been having problems with O2 sensors. I've found the solution, to help anyone else that's been having my problems. I've bought several O2 sensors for the upstream sensor(located in the engine bay next to the manifold) and the prongs for that sensor didn't fit(even though it said it'll fit with pictures). So my Altima is an 07, manufactured in January so it's a very early model of the 4th gen Altima.

The solution that I found out by trail and error is that the upstream prongs is the downstream prongs! Meaning the sensors are backwards! The upstream sensor is the downstream senor and vise versa. So if you're looking for an upstream sensor that is an early model of the 4th gen(manufactured 1/07, located on the driver side door to the right of the tire psi chart) you'll be looking for a DOWNSTREAM senor, not a upstream. The upstream senor prongs are male to male and female to female prongs for the downstream for this specific 07 Altima. Hope this helps!

With the factory cvt transmission, zero transmission fluid change(thanks to my dad got her in 2011, and already have 180k? miles when I started driving her) but thinking about getting it replaced soon, but she did burn 2 quarts and added the two couple of months ago. I do know about the engine light and it's the engine coolant temp sensor, my Dad and I replaced it and still appears(but might have an exhaust leak, going to check that out soon). On another note much much paint and clear coat will I need to fix the hood? The roof(mostly rust) and trunk also is peeling a lot along with several spots on the door, I do know what paint color it is though:)
