Are the out of towners here already?

Nearly got run over buy a large SUV running a stop sign like he owned the place downtown today. Seen a couple other aggressively driven SUVs this morning. I know Cornell grad happens this weekend. I usually avoid driving that weekend because of how chaotic the roads can get with out of towners who don’t know the area driving either aggressively or obliviously. Are they here already?

FLX Summer Bucket List

I’ll be leaving Ithaca in about ten weeks. I’m trying to make a weekend bucket list to pass the time and make sure I’m not leaving with regrets.

What are your bucket list or favorite things to do in the Finger Lakes for $20 or less? (or more than that if they’re really spectacular)

I’m not much of a hiker anymore sadly, but I enjoy art, wineries, lakefront views, casual camping, quirky bookstores, ice cream, random museums, and scenic drives.

I love their price but the Reddit stories and google reviews are giving me pause. They told me their management just changed this past year. Apparently they were with the Solomon group before, which owns my current rental and is okay. Can anyone offer insight into how it’s been since the management turnover? An apartment with a pool, fitness center, laundry, and most utilities (including internet) included for under $1200 would be so helpful, but not if it’s at the cost of safety or physical health/mold & mice. I just want somewhere cheap, somewhat quiet to work remotely and rest on weekends.
