Loved the Vida electric scooter after test-riding a few EVs — is it the right choice?

Hey everyone!

I recently visited a few electric scooter showrooms and checked out the TVS iQube, Simple Energy, Bajaj Chetak, and Vida by Hero.

Out of all of them, I surprisingly loved the Vida scooter the most! ❤️ It just felt right to me, but before making a final decision, I wanted to hear from people who actually own or have used it.

I’m planning to buy an EV for everyday use, mainly for local commuting and getting around Goa.

I’d love to know:

- How has your ownership experience been so far?

- What is the real-world range, especially after a year or two of use?

- How is the battery performance and charging experience?

- Have you faced any service issues, software glitches, or spare parts delays?

- How is the scooter on Goa’s roads, including rough patches and monsoon conditions?

- Would you still recommend buying it, or would you choose another EV today?

I know every scooter has its pros and cons, but I want to make a practical decision rather than buying one just because I liked it during the showroom visit.

Vida owners, please share your honest experiences, including the negatives! And if you’ve tried multiple EVs, I’d love to know how Vida compares.

Thanks!

What supplier category causes you the most headaches in Goa

Purchase Managers / Procurement Professionals:

I'm curious to hear from people working in procurement and purchasing.

What's one product or service category where you wish you had more reliable vendors or better supplier options?

It could be because of poor quality, inconsistent service, pricing, long lead times, lack of competition, or simply not enough dependable suppliers.

I'm interested in learning where the biggest gaps still exist. I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences and why that category has been challenging.

Goa property owners who live elsewhere — what's your biggest headache with managing it remotely?

Hey all — I'm a Goa local with a background in hospitality (5-star hotel) and operations/HR coordination. I've been thinking about offering villa/Airbnb management support for owners who don't live here, but before I put anything together I wanted to actually hear from owners first.

If you own a property in Goa and live elsewhere (or are an NRI), I'd love to know:

What's been the hardest part of managing it from a distance?

Guest communication, housekeeping, maintenance, pricing — what eats up the most time or causes the most stress?

What would you actually want from a local property manager, if you were to hire one?

Not selling anything here, just trying to understand the real problems before assuming I know the answer. Happy to share what I learn too, in case it's useful to others in the same boat.
