This is just my opinion. Not looking to offend anyone 🥴🥴🥴
I finished ACOSF and wow I don’t know where to start. I was expecting the worst based on some of the fandom opinions but not sure if it was just me, but I wasn’t bothered by the pregnancy plot. I actually found the scene between Rhys, Cass and Azriel very moving and could see he was actually terrified of it all. By the end I also felt better about Nesta, although still not my favorite. Her banter with Rhys was great to be honest and occasionally made me laugh. It had a lot of emotional moments that I loved. Amren and Nesta’s reconciliation was one of my favorites scenes.

My biggest problem was the pacing. It dragged at times and it felt as if everything happened too conveniently in order to make Nesta the girl with the most powers. I actually didn’t love that part. The training, the GPS friendship bracelets and Valkyries storyline felt somewhat absurd to me even though I understand what SJM was trying to do. I was at the end questioning where the story was going because Nesta’s healing seemed to be the most important thing while everything else became secondary. I had a love/hate relationship with the book lol but it was entertaining.
Very curious about Azriel/Gwyn/Elain… the bonus chapter was very interesting… 🤭

Most importantly, I still love Rhys, the IC and even Nesta is alright. Not sure about the extreme positions when it comes to this book 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can someone tell me where I can read the bonus chapters??? Thank you!!!

Is it worth reading?
I’m a first time reader and about to finish ACOFAS. I’m a big Rhys and Feyre fan and dreading the next book because Nesta is annoying (at least to me. It’s great if you love her) and I see Cassian as a big brother energy kind of guy.
Not sure if I will enjoy it also because Hybern is already gone… so new made up enemies? Is this going to be like one of those series that go on with new made up enemies?
And especially no Rhys in the center of the story? 😔😔 I miss him already 🦇🖤

Anyone here that has read this one? I know it ends badly. I’m dreading the end because I am so attached to the characters and especially Beckett!!! 😭

Did I really put myself through this after being devastated by Onyx Storm? 😅🫩

I am sure this has been discussed here before but I need someone to talk about this book… I had the courage to finish it lol even though in my opinion the end was the worst part. I was like did I really read almost 700 pages for this?
Nothing gets truly resolved and if anything she just keeps adding more and more nonsense to an already bloated story…
- Does Belikon never dies? Like this is twice they fight him and nothing…
- Saeris is almighty now… even resurrection powers now?
- She finds Kingfisher through a dream 🤦‍♀️
- Layne has been in a coma for a whole book 💀 while Hayden and Carrion did not add anything to the story at the end
- Kingfisher’s true name… and somehow she starts calling him by the new name like it’s the most normal thing

And I could just go and on…

There are so many wacky things happening that I feel I remember so little even after just finishing the book… 🫩🫩🫩

The only thing I enjoy was the chapters about Carrion and Kingfisher… and Onyx. 🫩

I’m curious what you all think about Dain. I like him a lot 🤭but he seems to be a rather controversial character. How do you feel about him?
